Grenoble Alpes Incubation (GR-A-IN) is one of the first public incubators created as a result of the law for innovation and research (n°99-587 of July 12th 1999 ) which encourages creation of innovative start ups.
Grain was founded on april 29th 1999 by the Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), the French National Scientific Research Organisation (CNRS), the National Polytechnical Institute of Grenoble (INPG), Joseph Fourier University (UJF) and Pierre Mendès-France University (UPMF).
